SYNOPSIS
White as a color is just a fluid concept – the white of ice, paper, milk, clouds, snow are distinguishable from our eyes, and each kind of whites owns its unique properties. The fusion of materials and viewers’ perceptions reveals the truth of colors. “Sliding Whites” is an experiment on TV cells, the representation of color and the originality of digital image.

WRO 05, 11th International Media Art Biennale, Wroclaw, Poland
Honorable Mention
"For the invitation to participate in a re-mediation of scating views at the optical and poetic interface of analogue and digital media." - Statement of WRO 05 Jury
"Sliding Whites is a poetic work that deals with coincidence and structure. Almost like a research project that tries to analyze the relationship between human movement and a technical structure (the monitor screen in this case). It is most joyful to watch the elegant and constantly changing movements. The author successfully seduces us to listen to his poetic rhymes in white." - Hanspeter Ammann (Curator of 4th Macao International Video Art Cycle of 16th Macao Arts Festival)
